About Us
Green Roof Kennel is a family owned and run business located on 20 acres next to our home. We don't warehouse dogs in an isolated building and leave them. We are in a nice and quiet area just south of Hillsboro, Missouri. We are approximately 30 miles south of St. Louis, Mo.
We are a kennel which enables us to tailor the care of each pet to their individual needs. We often have guests in our office during the day and after hours for one on one time.
We have been in business since 2001 and are recommended by many local Veterinarians, Vet Techs, Groomers and our customers. In fact, we are proud to call many local Vet Techs, Groomers and even some Veterinarians our customers!
You may take comfort in the fact that I am a Red Cross Pet First Aid Instructor and that I am experienced with pet emergencies.
Day Care is available for pets wanting a little excitement in their daily lives! Let your pet play the day away at our kennel. However, our priority is overnight care and daycare may not always be available on Fridays and some days during a Holiday week.
We aren't just dog lovers. We have been active for most of our lives in almost every aspect related to dogs imaginable! Dogs are not just a job, they are a way of life for us. We are currently owned by our dogs. In addition to all the dogs, we also have several cats that live between the kennel, the house and the barn. And last, in our barnyard we also have a horse named Dixie that thinks she's a dog!
